I do like the twistiness of - " If you had been on Rimside Moor at midnight, and had hold of a black sows tail, then you would not be here to tell the tale" -maybe its just word play on tale and tail, and how could you hold a tailless sows tail anyway? so it is a scary black pig after all. keep your eyes peeled.
