I think the usual thing is that they turn round when the cock crows? or sometimes they wander off for a drink. Probably at midsummer eh. I'll keep a look out if you like. For some information that is. I guess there's christian stuff about cocks crowing too (maybe hence the cross in your photo?) and not to mention all sorts of other local folklore?

Also judging by the picture I'd say the G was an attempt at humour.?

(oh and much as I love the seals off Blakeney point, I'm not sure that's where you meant to put the stone... at least, that's where the inline map is showing it at the moment)
