I think your directions are just fine!

You know what I mean though, when you see what people do at West kennet and Avebury and countless other places (eg all the wax and smoke, and the 'hi julian' scratched on the board at Uley) - and these are people who presumably profess to be interested / care about the sites. Most people can't be bothered to walk far enough to get to places like the mother's jam and the polisher stone, thank god.

It's all been said before, I know. But it's a subject guaranteed to wind me up (and I'm sure many others).

Glad you liked the place! I thought it was great.
